Demetrios Coritsidis, Esq.
Mr. Coritsidis received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Queens College. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Hofstra University School of Law. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1977. Over the past 35 years he has represented clients in the purchase and sale of real estate, the refinancing of their residential and commercial real estate, and the purchase and sale of small businesses. Mr. Coritsidis also represents both landlords and tenants in the negotiation and preparation of commercial leases. He was an Adjunct Professor for a real estate licensing course for sales persons and brokers at LaGuardia Community College for more than 25 years. Mr. Coritsidis served on the board of the Nysirian Society of New York where he is currently an active member. He is fluent in Greek and Spanish.
John A. Sotirakis, Esq.
John A. Sotirakis received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from St. John’s Law Schooland his Master of Laws in taxation (LL.M.) from New York University Law School. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1975. Mr. Sotirakis is also admitted to the Eastern and Southern Federal District Courts of New York. Mr. Sotirakis has over 35 years of experiencein litigation matters, ranging from estate litigation, civil litigation and matrimonial ligation. His practice includes trials and appeals. His primary area of concentration is in estate planning, the drafting of wills and trusts, including trusts applicable to Elder Law concerns. He has handled contested and uncontested probate, administration and other Surrogate’s Court proceedings. Mr. Sotirakis is a long time presenter of seminars in estate planning. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association: Elder Law Divisions and Trusts and Estate’s Law Divisions, Queens Bar Association, Hellenic Lawyers Association, as well as the Long Island City Lawyers’ Association. He is fluent in Greek.
John G. Saketos, Esq.
John G. Saketos received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Hofstra University School of Law. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1986. Mr. Saketos is also admitted in the Southern and Eastern Federal District Courts of New York, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. His primary area of concentration is in commercial and residential lending, commercial leasing, real estate and business transactions. Mr. Saketos has handled complex structured financial issues for more than 25 years. He has negotiated and authored detailed loan and security agreements in all types of secured real estate loans, including residential, commercial and mixed use properties. Mr. Saketos has served as President of the Hellenic Lawyers Association of New York where he is currently active as member of its board. He is fluent in Greek.
Antonia T. Constantinou, Esq.
Antonia T. Constantinou received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Fordham University and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. She was admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey in 2006 and the State of New York in 2007. Ms. Constantinou practices in areas of civil litigation, estate matters including: contested estate litigation, probate and estate administration proceedings, contested and uncontested matrimonial actions. She also represents clients in a variety of commercial and residential Landlord and Tenant matters ranging from the negotiation and drafting of lease agreements to handling holdover and nonpayment actions in New York City Civil Court. Ms. Constantinou is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York and the Hellenic Lawyers Association. She is fluent in Greek.
Patricia Sotirakis, Esq.
Patricia Sotirakis received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, cum laude from New York Law School, where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class and received the commencement awards for excellence in tax law and excellence in trusts and decedent’s estates. While in law school, Ms. Sotirakis was a member of the New York Law School Wills Clinic, where she provided estate planning services to clients referred to the Clinic by various not-for-profit organizations. She was also a member of the Law School's Center for Real Estate studies. She received Dean’s list and High Dean’s List Honors and was awarded scholarships from WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate and the Hellenic Lawyers Association of New York. Ms. Sotirakis was admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey in 2014 and the State of New York in 2015. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Sotirakis worked in public and private accounting.
Alexander Sotirakis is a seven year paralegal who started with the firm in 2007. Mr. Sotirakis received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Stonybrook University. He went on to earn his paralegal certificate from the ABA accredited Queens College Paralegal Program. Mr. Sotirakis is an integral part of our team as he assists the attorneys with matters ranging from contested estates and civil litigation to transactional matters.
